Who we are
This website is run by Liberty Wed, a husband & wife wedding photography and film studio. We decide how and why your data is handled (in legal terms, the “data controller”).

What we collect
We keep it to the minimum:
- When you send an inquiry — your name, email, wedding location and date, an approximate guest count, and anything you write in the message. You give us this yourself by filling in the form.
- When you open a private gallery — if your gallery is passcode-protected, we store one small cookie in your browser to remember that you entered the correct code, so you don't have to type it on every page.
- Basic server records — like any website, our host briefly logs technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running. We don't use this to identify or profile you.
What we don't do
- We don't use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool.
- We don't run advertising or tracking pixels.
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. Ever.
Why we use it
We use the details from your inquiry only to answer you, check our availability for your date, and — if you book — to plan and deliver your wedding coverage. The gallery cookie exists purely so your private gallery works. In data-protection terms, this rests on taking steps at your request and on our legitimate interest in running the studio and replying to you.
The tools we rely on
A few trusted services help the site work. They only handle your data on our instructions:
- Formspree — delivers your inquiry form to our inbox.
- Vimeo — hosts the films embedded on the site. We turn on Vimeo's “do not track” setting, so it doesn't build an advertising profile from your visit.
- Our website host & gallery storage — keeps the site online and stores your wedding photos and films securely.
How long we keep it
We hold inquiry messages only as long as we need them — to reply, and through your wedding if you book with us. If nothing comes of an inquiry, we delete it within a reasonable period. The gallery cookie clears itself after a short time, or whenever you clear your browser. You can ask us to delete your details at any point.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Just email wed.liberty@gmail.com and we'll sort it out, usually within a few days. If you're in the EU or UK and you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
This site is meant for couples planning their wedding and isn't aimed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this page
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the “last updated” date at the top. The current version always lives here.
